GENIUS aims to extend the capabilities of a novel ultrafast chemical sintering method for noble metal nanoparticles addressing critical gaps, exploring scaling up of the process and validating its compatibility with commercially available metal nanoparticle inks, exploring materials produced with a variety of methods, which can be used in different applications and device’s configurations (Figure 1). This validation step is key to enabling future licensing agreements with ink producers and integrating the method into existing manufacturing workflows.
GENIUS moves the technology closer to the market by addressing compatibility with a range of commercial inks and focusing on real-world process integration to widen applicability for thin film devices fabrication.
